First Timer
Okay so this is my first time in Africa. At first I was a little scared to be honest, but it was an adventure that I was excited for. The first day at the school was a little disorganized, as kids were being herded around and new people being orientated to the school grounds. Mary had a line of people with questions and a list of things to do more than a mile long. There was a dance group, a reading group, a soccer group and an art group. There were volunteers running every group and the kids were enjoying themselves.
After a week at the school we took off on Safi Safari and that was great. There were tons of animals and the different environments were amazing.
This is a trip that I will surely remember for the rest of my life and I am not even halfway done yet!

Bergel Your like a little kid and you are so fun to read. A hoot. Like a kid in a candy shop.
Yes your trip and i am speaking to all sounds so fantastic and full of life. Haven't gotten the safari one which i will get on and read but you got my mouth wet and i think i will come over next yr during the migration season. This yr i am staying low or i would come over in Jan.
Just to feel like you are helping others advance and grow has to be self rewarding in itself. To see people without the basics be so appreciative has to be heart wrenching. I am proud of all of you. Actually envy but i am going to say proud as i know that each and everyone is a Christian and in their hearts they see what God can do and change before their eyes.
It really is a thrill to read your blogs. Thank you for keeping the thrills and stories coming. What a wonderful world we live in.
Please say hi to the Tuesday early morning sponsored student from the early morning Christian group. We were thinking of you just this morning. We pray you have a good yr and our thoughts are with you. -BIG HUGS-
Especially extra hi's to Earla and Bergel as they will be bringing stories home with them and get our twenty twenty questions.
Hurry home , Safe Journey and don't hurry so much that you can't take time to teach and have fun at the same time.
